Koricancha Spanish School
Welcome to the brand new Koricancha Spanish School! We are just getting started here in Cusco, but please don’t be fooled by this. Our leader and undoubtedly the voice and spirit of our institution has many years of experience in the field, along with a story to help explain her motivation for starting her own Spanish school in an already crowded market.
While working, she always felt that certain qualities and approaches to teaching Spanish were lacking and became frustrated when students would spend three weeks learning Spanish but leave barely able to piece together a full sentence. After all, the goal is to speak the language and not just know a few of the rules. So she began thinking of new and innovative designs she could incorporate into a curriculum.
Thus began the idea for Koricancha Spanish School. From there she recruited professors whom she had met and trusted over the years, and began brainstorming new ideas to come up with her own unique lesson plan. She also decided that she would deliberately keep the number of students low so as to ensure that each student received the highest quality of personal attention. It goes without saying that the more students one professor has the less attention she can give to each one. The final piece of the puzzle was to find a school that would provide a comfortable environment in which students could learn. At last, and through lots of hard work, Koricancha Spanish School was a reality.
We believe that we are truly different from other schools, and will work to make sure that you get the most out of your experience here with us.
