Why Study in Cusco?
- First off, Peruvian Spanish has a more neutral accent than all of the other South American countries. It is much easier to understand, and therefore learn Peruvian Spanish than other countries´ Spanish.
- The city of Cusco is itself beautiful. With a mix of ancient Incan and more modern Spanish influences, it is unique to Peru and South America.
- It is a gateway to many of the archeological sites located in Southern Peru, including, of course, Machupicchu and its Inca Trail.
- It is also close to other top attractions, including Lake Titicaca, Arequipa, Manu, and Puerto Maldonado. - Many backpackers and tourists also come to Cusco to trek the challenging mountains of Choquequirao, Salkantay and Ausangate.
